We Grow Startups aim to do just that. They work with startups and growing businesses to improve their clients’ digital advertising ROI, while delivering tangible results; specialising in the use of paid marketing as a key lead generation tool, before driving sales through nurture and CRM strategies.
They’re incredibly astute at analysing data, interpreting trends and understanding customer behaviour; enabling them to launch, tweak, and improve their campaigns… with some hella impressive results.
WGS and I met on a client project in 2021, and we’ve been collaborating ever since. Their data-driven insights and my creative outputs work together seamlessly to create engaging campaigns that deliver real results to our clients, and our dedication to working with startups and growing businesses means we share similar values and the same strategic approach to our work.
Here are a few projects we’ve worked on together.
iwocaPay launched a series of ebooks as part of a gated content lead generation campaign, targeted at three very different audiences. They were looking to provide in-depth information to their readers which positioned them as thought leaders, while encouraging potential clients to find out more about their services. The ebooks were accompanied by a variety of additional touchpoints; including a suite of social media ads, emailers and follow-up materials.
Google DeepMind worked with WGS to launch a series of ads challenging the stereotypes of AI. Google DeepMind provided the graphics and video footage, while I worked on the scripts and copywriting for short animations and static ads. WGS then launched, managed and optimised the ads across a variety of social platforms; including Instagram, LinkedIn and Reddit.
This work was aimed at driving brand awareness for their Visualising AI campaign.
By developing an in-depth CRM campaign, we've been able to design and deliver a suite of emailers that have driven a 45% sales uplift in just three months. After the successful delivery of a number of evergreen automated flows and sales conversion campaigns, we're now managing the entire CRM strategy for the business; with the aim of converting sales, becoming the go-to resource for exam materials, and increasing referrals.
WGS focus on the logistics, building UTMs, tracking and analysing data, A/B testing and suggesting ideas for higher open rates, click-to-open-rates and sales. My work involves understanding the audience and their needs, crafting stories, designing graphics, copywriting, and building email series and flows within Active Campaign.
Marquee TV wanted to drive more subscriptions to their service; while they had a healthy mailing list and effective lead gen strategies, they needed support converting their list into paying customers.
WGS and I are currently working together on a CRM strategy, combining evergreen automated flows with a custom arts newsletter and regular announcements; positioning the brand as a unique service in their space, while showcasing their vast array of shows and performances on the platform.
Again, WGS focus on data and analytics, while I work on the creative. Work has just begun on this project - results to follow soon!
